zoey???

latest on zoey. emily has stress test tomorrow. but doctor doesn't think she will go anytime soon so she is sechulded for induction monday nov.3 starting at 6am.
sunday was another full day. we had a celebration at church. it was pastor appreciation month so we socked it to him. we threw socks with money in them at him. he didn't get it until later.
the karen church had a baptism. our pastor baptized 3 of the Karen, twin sisters and their brother. one twin and the brother have been here only 2 months. the other twin works at sewing to support them. she has been here a year. our church licensed thier pastor
to preach too. we can not ordain him because their belief is that a pastor cannot be ordained until 50 years of age. then we had a potluck supper with them. our deacons and pastor helped with the Lord's Supper because they don't have deacons, elders,or an ordained minister. to them it is necessary to have all that.
now that winter is coming, the Karen are in need of coats, socks, gloves, and shoes. most are still wearing flip flpos! one precious lady is sechulded for a c-section nov.13, but has no car seat or blankets for the baby girl. so i am trying to find them for her. with garage sales over, it is going to be hard to find a car seat. but God will provide.
one young man has been sick for a month but doctors aren't helping because he doesn't have money or insurance. for a bactarial infection they gave him Nexum! that doesn't work, does it? so pray for healing for him.
i now have a splint and excerises to do with my thumb. girls are volunteering to help cook!
i am looking for 3 copies of beth moore's to live is christ. if you see them somewhere local, please let me know. my walmart was out of them today. i need them before Sunday!
