finally a doctor with some sense

The doctor on call finally came in around 7pm. He checked her and there had been no change since yesterday at 4pm. She asked to go home and he said he saw no reason she couldn't go home and do what ever she wanted. So they discharged her and told her they probably wouldn't see her for a couple of weeks. She was thrilled. There really was no reason for her to have been stuck in that bed for 30 hours. So now things can get a somewhat back to normal.
